Hamilton Princess and Beach Club of Bermuda has reopened for the guests

The Hamilton Princess and Beach Club, the iconic Grand Dame Resort in Hamilton Harbor in Bermuda. It decided to reopen to guests. Social distance and other protocols are set and certain restaurants are closed.

The resort that is affectionately called “Pink Palace” is offering a package “Bermuda Bliss” to celebrate the reopening. Travelers are receiving up to 40 percent off the best available rate and a $100 resort credit. Prices start at $229 per night for the Fairmont King Room. The offer is now available despite the end of the year, qualifying must be between 31 December 2021 and cancel with full flexible cancellation up to 72 hours before arrival.

Guest services and dining

There is a necessity for social distance throughout the property but guests can still enjoy the Excel Spa, a workout class and two pools, both with poolside food and beverage services.

Those who want to feel the sand in their toes can pre-order a picnic basket and go to the private Princess Beach Club on Sinky Bay in a pink-and-white jitney – sitting in a hopping place with physical distance. This beach club offers in-water hammocks and watersports, including paddleboarding, snorkeling, and kayaking.

Dining options at the reopened resort include 1609 water views and fresh local seafood, classic pub rentals with crowns and anchors and a stylish new veranda, and new Duchess Cafe and Gelateria, casual breakfast or a fun treat to-go. But the Gold Lounge, ‘Marcus, and Marcus’ on the Beach are closed now.

New services and protocols

The Hamilton Princess and Beach Club and its parent organization Accor, launch a new service in complimentary, non-emergency medical care for in-house guests. In this case, they have partnered with AXA. Any guest with an urgent-non-urgent need can be contacted by phone with any medical practice at no cost. Currently available in English and French. The service will be available in German, Portuguese, and Spanish at the end of the year.

In addition, new health and safety protocols developed with Accor and in line with local government guidelines, the new methodology has been implemented over the hotel after a wide range of staff orientation and training. New arrangements include temperature verification for everyone entering the property, the necessary masks in public spaces inside, and a limited number of guests in the elevator. Each guestroom also has a wellness kit that includes masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, and disinfectant wipes. Hand sanitizer stations have also been placed in the main area throughout the hotel.

According to the resort officials, its guest bedrooms and common areas will be cleaned to the highest standards by specially trained, professional housekeepers using EPA-registered disinfectants. The last one has been shown to be useful in preventing all viral and bacterial infections, including COVID-19.

As an additional precaution, guestrooms will be thoroughly cleaned and left empty for a minimum of 48 hours after each stay.
