Luxury Hotels Nowadays Invite Parents to Provide Remote Learning Programs for Children

Many people in the world have adapted to a new way of life, working or learning away from necessities or personal preferences. 2020 is a year that has revolutionized the tourism industry, with many businesses making significant efforts to grow rapidly. An example of this is the luxury hotel sector, which has launched additional offers to satisfy travelers at lower prices. While many parents want to work from home as well as oversee children or supervising digital education. Many hotels are responding with some packages designed for families. Here is a list of luxury hotels with family-friendly resources for distance learning.

Auberge Resorts Collection

This luxury hotel brand recently disclosed its Remote with Auberge program, a project that allows guests to work, learn, and play remotely this fall and winter. The brand has partnered with a private educational and exam preparation company Advantage Testing for personal and virtual tutoring services to enable students to participate in small group learning from their group or residence and participate in one-on-one tuition. Guests have the option to increase their tutoring at the end of the departure after continuing the virtual session. Families can enjoy unique cultural activities in each country, ranging from teaching ukulele, hula dance, Spanish lessons, and history classes in Mexican art.

Eden Roc Cap Cana

Offering extended family staycation packages in 20 to 30 days, on-demand offices are available in-villa set up to work and learn remotely in the Dominican Republic. It allows children to participate in remote school programs in their suite and it includes unlimited Spanish lessons and piano lessons also. There are bachata, simple dance lessons, and outdoor activities such as ballet.


Montage Hotels & Resorts

The Montage Hotel has launched the Montage Academy program available in four separate locations. The hotel brand providing access to virtual tutors, monitoring study halls, and optional activities for guests ages 6 to 17. Guests can participate in yoga, hiking, woodshop, and cooking as well as conversation education. There are practical quizzes on a number of topics, where healthy snacks and lunches are provided daily.

Turtle Inn, Belize

As part of the Family Coppola Hideaways collection, owned by respected filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola, Turtle Inn offers an educational program that includes bird watching, fishing, scuba diving, Spanish speaking, tortilla making, and horse riding. Young guests can also explore Mayan archeology and participate in local community service work.

The resort’s new Edu-Cations package provides families with the opportunity to attend school online while on vacation. This includes a luxury overnight accommodation in one room with extra day-use guest rooms to serve as a study space, one-hour on-demand online homework assistance with tutors at The Princeton Review, as well as in-house trips to the Ocean Institute. There is also the opportunity to participate in a global student research project on plastics and the ocean.

Four Seasons Punta Mita


The resort’s “Schoolcations” project supports distant learning with a new world-schooling program that includes a high tech hotline, Study Buddy program, arts, culture, and history classes. It also includes post-school sports features for learning through travel.There are also study cabanas for rent as a personal workstation with ocean views, equipped with Wi-Fi, TV, and healthy snacks.

Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal


This resort is in a new partnership with TakeLessons which shows that students are capable to take private coaching sessions, virtual field trips, and pre-recorded coaching classes. USA-based instructors from more than 1,100 universities across the country work with guests, while each student also has access to a personal porter to discuss their individual needs.

The Ritz -Carlton Amelia Island


They provide Atlantic Ocean Barrier Island Resort for remote learning experiences and access 24-hour private study rooms to their guests. In partnership with the Reef Institute for more than five-day packages, children on field trips exploring native dune ecosystems, kayaking, and coastal fauna.
